Cancer Research Wales’ ever-popular annual Clothes Sale will stage a stylish comeback at Cardiff’s De Vere Village Urban Resort on Saturday 2nd November from 11am-2pm.
The event, organised by Cancer Research Wales in association with the Beulah Dress Agency in Rhiwbina, will be the perfect opportunity to make an early start on your Christmas shopping or pick up something stylish for the party season.
Items on sale include high-end brands and major high-street names such as Karen Millen, Coast, Oasis and Monsoon, sourced from Cancer Research Wales’ numerous charity shops as well as Beulah Dress Agency.
Businesses from all over South Wales will be exhibiting their wares, selling everything from fashion accessories and organic skincare to pamper sessions and homemade gifts.
Exciting confirmed exhibitors include Pinkeys nail salon in Whitchurch, Trysori jewellery and accessories boutique from Neath, Rhiwbina’s artisan confectioner Sugar Mouse House and creative Bridgend gift-maker Cwtch.
There will also be a Christmas craft market offering a variety of handmade, vintage and traditional Welsh gifts from local businesses.
Shoppers can also show their support for Cancer Research Wales, and possibly win a luxury prize in the process, by purchasing raffle tickets at the event.
Raffle prizes will include a glamorous bio-sculpture nail treatment from Pinkeys, a beautiful family portrait photography session with Barrett & Coe and a two-night stay at the picturesque Salutation Inn in Pembrokeshire.
All proceeds of the raffle will go directly to Cancer Research Wales, helping to fund ground-breaking research projects at sites such as the Velindre Centre where the charity is based.
Fundraiser Mei Lewis said: “The Clothes Sale is always a very popular event, allowing people to enjoy a fun and festive shopping experience while raising money and awareness for our pioneering cancer research projects.
“We are incredibly grateful to all of the exhibitors for their support, and we can’t thank Beulah Dress Agency enough for helping us to run the Clothes Sale year on year.
“The Christmas market is an exciting addition to the event this year, and a beautiful way for people to be charitable during the festive season and help those suffering with cancer in Wales.”
